Submission Guidelines

  • Ads must conform to specifications outlined herein. Elements not meeting specifications will be returned for revision, which may delay the launch date.
  • All creative must be submitted to your Media Delivery Coordinator according to the turnaround time specified on this site for any given ad format and ad unit. Otherwise campaign launch may be delayed. Please contact your Sales Representative for additional details.
  • Creative submissions should include the following:
    • Advertiser name
    • Yahoo! Insertion Order number
    • Detailed trafficking instructions
    • Creative files or 3 rd party tags (whatever applicable)
    • Alternate text (if applicable)
    • Linking URL
    • 3rd party tags must be live at the time of submission to enable thorough testing before launch
  • Approval

    All advertisements are subject to Yahoo!’s approval prior to placement on the site. Yahoo! does not review the contents of any advertisements, however, Yahoo! may check advertisements for technical compliance with our specifications. Display of an advertisement by Yahoo! does not mean that Yahoo! accepts that such advertisement is provided in accordance with our Advertising Terms and Conditions. Yahoo! reserves the right to preserve the user experience of its sites, and reserves the right to remove any Advertisement which is deemed annoying and/or harmful to our users at any time.

    For ads displaying content from external feeds or sourced by the advertiser, all content needs to be reviewed and vetted by the Sales person responsible for the advert or campaign according to the Yahoo! editorial and brand guidelines. In the case of any doubt seek approval from EU Editor-in-Chief or Director of Programming.
