The specifications for the Sticky Sky ad format is exactly the same as the standard 160×600 unit. However, when live it follows the user’s mouse scroll so it is always in view. This behaviour will be implemented on our end so you can just treat it as a standard 160×600 ad!
This format is only available on sueddeutsche.de.
Video and Audio
A 30 second video can also play in this unit. Video play can be uninitiated or user-initiated; however sound must be user-initiated and must have a one- second delay if it is initiated by roll-over of the mouse and also must be muted on roll-out. There must also be controls to pause video play and mute the sound.
Deliverables
- 160×600 FLA, SWF (under 40KB) and back up image (under 40KB)
- video asset as FLV (2.2MB or below) or uncompressed AVI or MOV at 30 seconds maximum
- Please also include fonts that we may need for publishing the FLAs
Audio (sound only) is also available in this unit. Audio play must be user-click-initiated and be supplied as a WAV or MP3 at 100KB or below. There must also be controls to mute the audio.
Polite Downloading
Extra uninitiated Flash assets can also be loaded on page load. The combined weight of the extra assets and the default SWF must be 100KB or less and the total animation time still need to be within 30 seconds.
